SaaS Management FAQ
Short answers about how SassList reads your statement, what it lists, how renewal alerts work and what each plan costs.
Getting started
What is SassList?
SassList turns a card or bank statement export into a complete list of the software subscriptions your company pays for, with yearly cost, renewal dates, owners and duplicate tools.
Do you need access to our bank or Google Workspace?
No. One export is enough. SassList never asks for a bank login, a card connection or single sign-on to build your first list.
Where does our statement go?
It is read in your browser. Only merchant names are classified on our server, never the file and never your amounts.
Which exports work?
CSV, XLSX and PDF from corporate cards, banks and expense tools.
How accurate are renewal dates?
They are predicted from the charge history, using the last charge and the billing cycle. You can confirm or edit each date.
What happens to tools that are not software?
They are ignored and never listed.
Can several people use it?
Yes. Starter includes 2 team members, Team up to 10 with viewer or editor roles, and Business unlimited.
Do you offer SSO and invoices?
Business includes SSO (SAML) and invoice billing. Enterprise groups also get an annual invoice.
When do renewal alerts arrive?
Alerts arrive by email 30, 14 and 7 days before each predicted renewal, so there is time to cancel, downgrade or renegotiate.
How does SassList find duplicate tools?
Tools are grouped by category. When two or more vendors share a category, such as video calls or project management, the list flags the overlap and the savings view shows the cost.
How many tools can I track?
Starter tracks up to 50 tools, Team up to 250 and Business is unlimited.
How many imports can I run?
Starter includes 4 imports per month, Team 20 and Business 100. Deleting an import does not give the usage back.
What does it cost?
Starter is $99 per month, Team $299 and Business $799. Billed yearly, the price is half: $49.50, $149.50 and $399.50 per month.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Yearly billing halves the monthly price and is charged once a year: $594 for Starter, $1,794 for Team and $4,794 for Business.
What if my company has several entities or more than 500 people?
Business supports multiple entities and currencies. Larger groups get custom limits, a security questionnaire and a data processing agreement. Write to [email protected].
Can I export the list?
Yes. Every plan exports the list to CSV and XLSX.
Can I use SassList for several client companies?
Yes. Fractional CFOs and bookkeeping firms import one statement per client and keep each client list separate on the plan that fits the number of tools.
